What is CamConnect?
CamConnect is a QR-triggered digital business card system developed by Terabyte Digital Marketing Services (TDMS). It allows you to exchange contact details, social links, and product categories instantly while using a “Visual Memory” photo to ensure you never forget who you met or where you met them.
Is it free to use?
Yes! Our Basic Plan is free and ad-supported. For industrial power-users who want an ad-free experience, unlimited contacts, and advanced GPS history, we offer a Pro Subscription.
Why should I take a photo in Landscape mode? Landscape mode is optimized for “Memory Recall.” It allows you to capture yourself, your new contact, and the surrounding environment (like a job site or event booth) in one wide frame. This visual context is what bridges the “Memory Gap” months later.
How does the Search box work? You don’t need to remember names. You can search by Keywords or Categories (e.g., “Paints,” “Scaffolding,” “Electrical”). The system scans the data encoded in your contacts’ Minisites and brings up everyone who matches that service.
What are the Mini-Map and LatLong toggles? These are features powered by the FuelWatchers project architecture. They allow you to “stamp” a contact with a geographic location. If you meet a supplier at a specific construction site, you can toggle these on to remember exactly where that meeting took place. You can turn these off at any time for privacy.
How do I link my profile to Terabuilders.com? In your Dashboard, simply toggle the “Sync to Terabuilders” switch. This will automatically mirror your product categories and contact links to the terabuilders.com ad listing platform, helping you reach more buyers in the construction and industrial sectors.
What happens if I delete a contact or a photo? Per our Mutual Ownership policy, you can delete any contact or photo from your own dashboard at any time. However, because a connection is a two-way street, the other person may retain the photo in their private “Visual Rolodex” for their own professional records.
Are my photos public? No. Photos taken during a CamConnect exchange are private between you and the contact. They are never posted publicly on the Terabuilders marketplace unless you manually upload them to a specific ad listing.
My contact didn’t receive the activation email. Please ask them to check their “Promotions” or “Spam” folder for an email from no-reply@terabuilders.com. Ensure they have a stable internet connection when scanning your QR code.
How do I update my Minisite links? Log in to your dashboard at camconnect.terabuilders.com, go to “Profile Settings,” and you can update your website, social media, and online store links instantly.
